User-Generated Content (Story Gallery)

Through our Gallery feature, PhotoRestore lets users share their restoration stories. When you submit one:

1. What We Collect

   • Story Content: The title and the text you write about your restoration experience.
   • Associated Images: Copies of your original and restored photos, stored permanently so they can appear in the Gallery (kept separately from the 30-day retention that applies to standard restoration records).

2. Visibility and Sharing

   • As soon as you submit a story, it is publicly reachable through a shareable link.
   • A story awaiting review can be seen by anyone holding the direct link, but it is not shown in the public Gallery.
   • Once approved, a story appears in the public Gallery and may turn up in search engine results.
   • The nickname and avatar on your account may be shown next to your story.

3. Content Moderation

   • Each submitted story passes through automated moderation followed by human review.
   • We may decline, delete, or unpublish any story at any moment, with no advance notice.

4. Deletion Rights

   • You can remove your stories whenever you like from the "My Stories" page. Doing so deletes both the story text and the Gallery images tied to it from our servers.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We never sell, trade, or otherwise pass your personal information to outside parties, apart from these situations:

• When we must meet a legal obligation or answer a lawful request from public authorities.
• When doing so protects the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
